Cheng Ma

Dr. Cheng Ma is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University, where he specializes in biomedical imaging and optical sensing technologies. He earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2012 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on advanced imaging techniques. His research interests include the development of innovative optical imaging methods for biomedical applications, and he has published numerous high-impact papers in prestigious journals such as Nature Photonics, Science Advances, and Nature Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Ma has been recognized for his contributions to the field through his selection for the National High-level Talent Introduction Program Youth Project, which highlights his role as a leading researcher in biophotonics. Through his teaching and research at Tsinghua University, he continues to advance the understanding of optical technologies in medicine, contributing to both academic scholarship and practical applications in healthcare.
