Chen Wen has established himself as a prominent figure in public health and health economics at Fudan University, where he serves as Professor, doctoral supervisor, and Dean of the School of Public Health. His academic credentials include a PhD in Social Medicine and Health Management from Shanghai Medical University (1998) and a research fellowship at UC Berkeley (2000-2001). His leadership extends across multiple prestigious positions, including Deputy Director of Fudan University's Hospital Management Institute and key roles in several professional organizations: Deputy Director of the Medical Insurance Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Health Economics, Executive Director of the Chinese Medical Insurance Research Association, and Executive Director of the Shanghai Society of Health Economics.
