Catherine Matthews

Dr. Catherine Matthews, J.D., Ph.D., serves as a Senior Consultant in Talent and Organization Development at Indiana University, where she provides consulting and coaching services across the university's multi-campus system. Her extensive educational background includes a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a Master of Arts in TESOL from Southern Illinois University, and both a J.D. and Ph.D. in Higher Education from Indiana University. As a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths coach and licensed attorney in Indiana, Matthews brings a unique combination of legal expertise and leadership development skills to her role. Her coaching practice encompasses a wide range of professional development areas, including leadership development, career planning, conflict management, emotional intelligence, performance management, and trust building. With over a decade of teaching experience across undergraduate, graduate, and law school programs in both traditional and online formats, Matthews has demonstrated versatility in educational delivery.
