Catarina Mangas

Catarina Mangas holds a PhD in Education - Teacher Training, a Master's in Supervision, and specializations in Special Educational Needs, Cognitive and Motor Domain, and Language Acquisition and Disorders. She also has a degree in Basic Education. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at the School of Education and Social Sciences at the Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal, where she teaches Professional Higher Courses, Undergraduate Degrees, and Master's programs in Education, Accessible Communication, and Portuguese as a Foreign Language. Catarina is an integrated member of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences Research Unit (CICS.NOVA.IPLeiria) and collaborates with the Centre for Studies in Education and Innovation (CI&DEI). Her main research interests include Special Educational Needs, Language and Communication Sciences, particularly in the areas of Specific Learning Difficulties and Language Disorders.
