EdxCasey Duckering is a Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago, advised by Prof. Fred Chong. He holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, as well as an M.S. in Computer Science from UChicago. His research focuses on quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware implementations for NISQ quantum computers, with additional work on multi-valued qubits (qudits). His contributions have been recognized with a Best Paper Runner-Up at MICRO'20 and two IEEE Micro Top Picks awards.
