Carsten Stahn is a Professor of International Criminal Law and Global Justice at Leiden University and serves as the Programme Director of the Grotius Centre for International Studies in The Hague. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law from 2000 to 2003, followed by a position as a Legal Officer in the Chambers of the International Criminal Court from 2003 to 2007. Before his current role, he was a Reader in Public International Law and International Criminal Justice at Swansea University.
