Carlos Page is a renowned researcher and professor whose expertise spans architecture, colonial history, and Jesuit studies. After graduating from the Catholic University of Córdoba's Faculty of Architecture in 1985, he earned his PhD in History from the University of Salvador in 2005. His academic career includes significant positions as an Independent Researcher at CONICET (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research) and leadership of the "Former Jesuits in Ibero-America" program at CIECS. His international recognition is evidenced by fellowships from the Carolina Foundation of Spain and the Spanish Ministry of Culture, along with research positions at CNR Italy. As founding editor of the scientific journal IHS Former Jesuits in Iberoamerica and member of the Scientific Council of the Société Internationale d´Estudes Jésuites in Paris, he has published over 300 articles and 40 books on Jesuit history, colonial architecture, and cultural heritage. His significant contribution includes authoring the successful UNESCO World Heritage nomination for the University Block and Jesuit estancias of Córdoba, and his work has been recognized internationally, including a special edition of his book presented to Pope Francis by the Paraguayan government.
