Dr. Carlos Buskey brings over two decades of professional experience to his role as Assistant Professor at Howard University's School of Business Information Systems Department, which he joined in 2015. His academic journey includes a doctorate in Computer Sciences from Pace University in Westchester, NY, a graduate degree in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University, and an undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Virginia State University. Before entering academia, he spent 22 years as a business and technology consultant, bringing valuable real-world experience to his teaching. His research focuses on critical areas of modern technology, including social capital, cybersecurity, technology availability, and technology education, making him a valuable contributor to both academic research and practical applications in the field of information systems.
