Camilo Ernesto Hernandez

Camilo Ernesto Hernandez has established himself as an expert in Latin American literature and visual culture at the University of the Andes, where he serves as Assistant Professor and Representative of the M.A. and Ph.D. programs in Literature. After earning his MA in American Literature from Indiana University and both his MA and Ph.D. in Latin American Literature and Culture from Princeton University, he has focused his research on 20th and 21st-century Latin American literature and visual culture. At Universidad de los Andes, ranked #179 in QS World University Rankings, he teaches courses including "Leer a Macondo: la obra de Gabriel García Márquez," sharing his expertise in Latin American literary studies. His work contributes to the university's strong research output and academic excellence in humanities and literature.
