Dr. Bruce Jenks is a distinguished visiting professor at the University of Geneva, where he lectures on international organizations management. He has an extensive background in international development, having served as Assistant Secretary-General at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he was instrumental in resource mobilization and building relationships with key stakeholders, including donors and various UN agencies. Dr. Jenks has also held academic positions at Columbia University and the Geneva Graduate Institute, and he is currently a fellow at the Center for International Cooperation at NYU. His research focuses on critical issues such as UN development strategies and multilateral governance, and he is co-leading a significant project titled "UN Development at a Crossroads." With a PhD from Oxford University and experience consulting for numerous international organizations, Dr. Jenks has contributed to policy discussions globally, authoring numerous articles and participating in conferences across over 40 countries. His expertise has been recognized through prestigious awards, including an OBE from the UK and the Order of the Rising Sun from Japan.
