Bruce Gordon, formerly a professor at the University of St Andrews, focuses on late-medieval and early modern European religious cultures, especially the Reformation. His notable works include *Calvin* (2009) and *The Swiss Reformation* (2002). He led a major project on Protestant Latin Bibles and is preparing a study on Calvin’s Institutes for Princeton University Press. Gordon teaches Western Christianity and early modern religious history and is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He received an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich in 2012.
