Brent Kim's research tackles food systems challenges from farm to fork, focusing on sustainable diets, industrial food production, agricultural policy, soil safety, urban food systems, and climate change. He is a skilled communicator, translating scientific concepts for policymakers and journalists, with his work featured in outlets like Popular Science and The Guardian. Since joining the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future in 2008, Brent has utilized his Master’s in Global Disease Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to thrive in educational settings. As a research program manager, he combines his public health, computer science, and arts experience, alongside his passion for food and farming.
