Borja García Serna serves as a Climate Change Specialist at the World Bank Group, where he focuses on decarbonization of the power sector and climate finance initiatives. After completing his economics degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with exchange programs at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and York University, he built a diverse career spanning both private and public sectors. His experience includes four years at General Electric in various financial roles within the energy sector, followed by entrepreneurial ventures in Thailand where he founded an ecotourism company while teaching mathematics.
