EdxBlanca de Miguel is a Full Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València, holding a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from UPV. She also holds an MBA from Ford España-UPV-Ruskin University (UK) and a Master's in Tourism Business Management. Her main research areas focus on two lines: the first centers on creative and cultural industries, including the development and application of technologies for these sectors; the second examines the involvement of companies, non-profit organizations, and citizens in their local communities. She has participated in and led various research projects at local, national, and international levels, with results published in high-impact national and international journals and books. Her expertise includes business model design, user needs analysis, design thinking, and service design, and her work has significantly contributed to the understanding and advancement of both creative industries and community participation in economic and social development
