Dr. Biagio Palumbo is an Associate Professor of Statistics for Experimental and Technological Research at the University of Naples Federico II, where he teaches courses in Reliability and Quality, Probability and Statistics, and Statistics for Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in "Technologies of Materials and Industrial Plants" from the University of Naples Federico II in 1995 after graduating in Mechanical Engineering. His research interests focus on reliability, design and analysis of experiments, and statistical methods for monitoring and optimizing production processes. Dr. Palumbo has published extensively in national and international conferences and journals, contributing to advancements in statistical techniques for complex data analysis. He is the Vice President of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS) and a member of several professional organizations, including the Italian Statistical Society, the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and the Italian Association of Mechanical Technology. His extensive experience in both academia and industry positions him as a leader in applying statistical methodologies to enhance technological research and industrial application
