Ben Daley has built an impressive career in education, beginning as a physics graduate from Haverford College before gaining diverse teaching experience internationally in Manila and domestically at the Madeira School and Pomona and Pitzer Colleges. In 2000, he joined High Tech High as a founding physics faculty member, later becoming its second director and eventually rising to the position of chief academic officer. His academic credentials include an M.A. in Science Education from UC Santa Barbara and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UC San Diego. At High Tech High, he serves multiple roles including advisor to fifteen high school students and Director of Clinical Sites in the HTH Graduate School of Education. A Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and member of the Aspen-Pahara Education Fellows, he balances his professional achievements with his role as father to his children Coleman and Greer
