Becky Ramsing manages the Center’s science advisory role with the Meatless Monday Campaign, where she oversees research, evaluation, and communication efforts to promote sustainable, plant-centric diets that reduce meat consumption. With over thirty years of experience as a registered dietitian, Becky has dedicated her career to helping individuals and organizations embrace evidence-based, relevant, and sustainable lifestyle choices. Prior to her work at the CLF, she served as a Technical Advisor for nutrition and food security in Afghanistan and Ethiopia, empowering women to enhance food production for family consumption and income generation. Becky has also worked as a nutrition consultant, developing and implementing health and nutrition curricula for programs with organizations like Head Start and the Howard County Public School System. She earned her BS in community nutrition from UC-Davis and her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
