Louisiana State UniversityAyman Okeil is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU). He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and has a strong academic background, including an M.S. in Structural Engineering and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University. Okeil has been with LSU since 2003, progressing through the ranks from Assistant Professor to Full Professor, and he served as the Graduate Programs Advisor from 2013 to 2019. His research interests encompass bridge engineering, structural reliability, nondestructive testing and evaluation of structures, structural rehabilitation and strengthening, as well as the nonlinear behavior of concrete structures. Okeil is also a registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
