Professor Aygül Akyüz serves as a Professor and Deputy Director at Koç University School of Nursing, bringing extensive expertise in women's health and nursing education. Her academic credentials include degrees from GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy), culminating in a Ph.D. in Women's Health and Diseases Nursing (2001). Her research portfolio includes over 40 international publications, with 36 articles in internationally indexed journals and contributions to nine national books. Her most cited works include groundbreaking research on gynecologic cancer experiences and cervical cancer screening.
