Aurélie Bochet graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva in September 2017. She received a scholarship from the NCCR Synapsy for clinician-scientists, allowing her to work part-time at the autism consultation center while also contributing to the autism research team led by Prof. Marie Schaer. Following this, she secured a second scholarship from the MD-PhD program of the Swiss National Research Fund, enabling her to pursue a doctorate in neuroscience under Prof. Schaer's guidance. Her research focuses on the comorbidity between Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in school-age children, examining this issue from both clinical and neuroscientific perspectives.
