Dr. Ashley L. Sheffel is an Assistant Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, specializing in global health monitoring and evaluation. With a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree, her research focuses on improving maternal and child health in low-resource settings through effective evaluation methods and health system assessments. Dr. Sheffel has extensive experience in developing health facility assessment tools and conducting surveys that generate critical data for health program planning, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
