Arnold Bakker

Dr. Arnold Bakker is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in cognitive neuroscience with a focus on human memory. He earned his Master’s degree in clinical neuropsychology from Tilburg University in the Netherlands before completing his doctorate in cognitive psychology at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Bakker is a faculty member in the Division of Psychiatric Neuroimaging and also serves as the director of the Neuroimaging Program in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His research investigates the neural mechanisms underlying both normal and impaired memory functions, particularly in the context of aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
