Aránzazu Villuendas

She holds a degree in Chemistry, an experimental master's degree and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona. Her PhD focused on the maturation and mechanical properties of aluminium alloys. She has worked in the field of SEM, TEM and AFM microscopies, as well as in XPS spectroscopy and white light interferometry. She has been an associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at the UB and has taught practical microscopy classes to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has extensive experience in the characterisation of all types of materials, from the macro to the nano scale. She currently works as a research support technician at the Scientific and Technological Centres of the University of Barcelona.
