Antonio M. López was born in Almería, Andalusia, Spain, in 1969. He graduated in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 1992 and obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2000.
