Ware Travelstead Professor of the History of Architecture and Technology at Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he chairs the PhD program in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Planning. His unique expertise stems from his multidisciplinary background as an engineer, architect, and historian, with degrees from prestigious French institutions including École Polytechnique, École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and a PhD from École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.
