HEC ParisAnne-Laure Sellier is the Cartier-Chaired Professor of Behavioral Sciences at HEC Paris. She completed her business training at HEC School of Management in France, followed by a Master’s in Public Administration from Bocconi University in Italy and an MBA from Warwick University in England. After working in the pharmaceutical industry, she earned her Ph.D. in management from INSEAD. Prior to joining HEC Paris, Sellier was a faculty member at London Business School and NYU Stern School of Business, and she has also taught at Columbia Business School. Her research interests include time perception's influence on decision-making, creativity, self-regulation, cognitive biases, and the interplay between emotions and cognition in judgment. Sellier has published extensively in top-tier journals such as Psychological Science and the Journal of Marketing Research.
