With a background as a product developer in industry, she previously held the position of Manager of Energy and Environment at Swerea IVF, where she was responsible for Circular Economy within the Swerea group. Her extensive research focuses on ecodesign and circular economy, particularly emphasizing how product and process development can enhance industrial sustainability. Her significant contributions include managing a preparatory study for the European Commission's Ecodesign directive and actively implementing ecodesign principles in over 75 companies. As an educator, she regularly teaches Ecodesign and Circular Economy both in industry settings and at Chalmers University. Her expertise spans across policy reform, business model innovation, product reuse, material recycling, and logistics, with a particular focus on developing affordable and profitable solutions for infrastructure, transport, and smart technology. She works extensively with both private companies and public organizations, taking a comprehensive approach that considers entire life cycles and supply chains while incorporating digital systems to support circular economy initiatives
