Anna Birna Almarsdóttir is a Professor of Social and Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Copenhagen and serves as the Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in the Patient Perspective on Medicines Use. She obtained her pharmacy degree from the University of Iceland in 1988 and completed her Ph.D. in Health Policy and Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994.
