Anita Valanju Shelgikar

Anita Valanju Shelgikar, MD, MHPE, is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan, specializing in sleep medicine. Her clinical interests encompass sleep-disordered breathing, sleep deprivation, and restless leg syndrome. Dr. Shelgikar is also dedicated to medical education, actively training sleep medicine fellows and neurology residents. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the program director for the sleep medicine fellowship, contributing to the development of future specialists in the field.
