Andres Guerrero Alvarado

Dr. Andrés Guerrero Alvarado serves as Professor in the Strategy area at the School of Management, Universidad de los Andes, where he previously directed the Entrepreneurship Center (2019-2022). His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Strategy from Tulane University, two master's degrees (Environmental Economics from University of Maryland and Management from Tulane), and an Economics degree from Universidad de los Andes. His expertise spans entrepreneurship, impact investment, and environmental economics, with over 15 years of experience in socio-environmental entrepreneurship through programs like New Ventures and Bid Network. As a serial entrepreneur in tourism and financial services, he brings practical experience to his academic work. Through his Coursera courses "Mi nueva empresa: los siguientes pasos" and "¿Cómo financiar mi empresa?" he helps entrepreneurs understand business development and financing strategies.
