Andrés Cencerrado

Andrés Cencerrado is a distinguished professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He holds a degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. from UAB. Since 2008, he has taught various courses in Computer Science and Telecommunications at UAB, and since 2014 at UOC. His research initially focused on optimizing wildfire simulation, but he has also explored machine learning applications in elite athletes' biometric variables. Currently, he is the CTO and co-founder of two startups, one applying emerging technologies in clinical psychology and another using Deep Learning for security and emotion recognition in the automotive sector.
