Specialist in Vascular Medicine from the University of Antioquia, Master in Anticoagulant Treatment from the Catholic University of Murcia in Spain, Fellow of the ACP, Internist from the Universidad del Bosque, Physician from the Universidad de la Sabana in Bogotá, Member of the ACP, Colombian Association of Vascular Medicine, Clath Group, principal investigator of the RIETE registry, Colombian Association of Internal Medicine. She currently works at the Fundación Santafé University Hospital in Bogotá, where she is the director of the Clinical Care Center for Venous Thromboembolic Disease. Head of the Vascular Diseases Clinic, Anticoagulation Clinic and Arterial Hypertension and Cardiovascular Risk Clinic, Section of general outpatient internal medicine and is a clinical professor at the Universidad de los Andes and the Universidad El Bosque.
