Alfred Hans Grünwaldt is a leading climate change specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), serving as the focal point on climate for the Infrastructure Department. He provides technical advice on integrating climate change and sustainable infrastructure into development operations. With over 15 years of experience, Grünwaldt has co-led numerous loan and technical cooperation operations contributing significantly to the IDB's climate finance goals. He has chaired the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) Working Group on Adaptation Finance Accounting from 2018 to 2020.
