The Hong Kong Polytechnic UniversityAlexander Woo serves as Senior Clinical Associate and Clinical Coordinator of BSc (Hons) PT and MPT programs at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, where he brings extensive expertise in physiotherapy and healthcare management. His academic credentials include a BSc in Physiotherapy from PolyU, a Master's in Medical Science from The University of Hong Kong, an MBA in Healthcare from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Professional Diploma in Acupuncture from Hong Kong Baptist University. Before joining PolyU, he managed clinical services for private healthcare facilities, developing comprehensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, ergonomic assessment, work rehabilitation, and functional capacity evaluation. His leadership extends beyond academia as Chairperson of the Promotion and Public Relations Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and Chairman of its Occupational Safety, Health and Rehabilitation Specialty Group. His professional interests focus on acupuncture, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and work rehabilitation, areas in which he has received specialized post-graduate training. His teaching excellence has been recognized with the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching 2021, and he has been nominated as President of the HKPA Executive Committee for 2024-2027, demonstrating his significant influence in the field of physiotherapy education and practice
