Delft University of TechnologyAlexander Wandl serves as a senior researcher at the chair of Environmental Technology and Design at TU Delft's Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, where he specializes in developing sustainable urbanization strategies using an extended territorial metabolism approach. His work integrates GIS-supported methods and tools from various disciplines to address complex urban challenges. As scientific coordinator of the Horizon 2020 research project REPAiR (Resource Management in peri-urban areas), he leads innovative research on spatial strategies supporting the transition towards a circular economy.
