Alejandro Cataldo

Dr. Alejandro Cataldo serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences in 2018. His research focuses on developing analytical and mathematical tools for complex decision-making systems, with particular expertise in operations research and optimization. His work spans both public and private sectors, providing consulting services to various government entities including the Ministry of Health and Education, CORFO, and JUNAEB, as well as private sector organizations in mining, forestry, retail, and banking. His academic contributions include over 13 high-impact publications in operations research journals, covering topics such as inventory management, healthcare operations, curriculum scheduling, and e-government services
