Her research focuses on rural regeneration and generational renewal, examining ways to overcome rural decline through innovative approaches. Her experience includes working as Research and Development Officer with Ireland's National Rural Network, where she focused particularly on the LEADER programme. She has contributed to numerous rural development projects across national and European levels, specializing in areas including creative industries, short food supply chains, and food cooperatives. Her current work investigates methods to create opportunities for new generations in rural areas, studying issues such as access to farmland, rural newcomers, and youth aspirations in rural contexts.
