Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay is a Professor (HAG) at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) in Kolkata and the current Director of the institute, a position she has held since September 2020, following her first term from August 2015 to July 2020. She joined ISI's Machine Intelligence Unit in 1999 after completing her Ph.D. there. Prof. Debasis Sengupta is a researcher at the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. His research primarily focuses on oceanography, with specific emphasis on the physics of the Indian Ocean. Probal Chaudhuri is a Professor in the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) in Kolkata, India. He completed his Bachelor of Statistics (Hons.) in 1983 and his Master of Statistics in 1985 from ISI, followed by a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1988. Professor Anup Dewanji is a Retired Professor from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) in Kolkata, where he has had a distinguished career in the Applied Statistics Unit. He earned his B.Stat and M.Stat degrees from ISI and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo in 1984.
