He holds a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Conceptual Design from IISc and contributes significantly to advancements in design technologies.
Head of the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad
Prof. Deepak John Mathew is the Head of the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad and the Principal Design Investigator at the Design Innovation Centre. He specializes in information design, photography, VR & AR, and aesthetics. With a Ph.D. in Design Education, his research focuses on the history of design and the elements of design. Before joining IITH, he was the Head of Photography Design at NID, Ahmedabad.
