The curriculum covers four main modules: Probability and Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Prescriptive Analytics, and Management Functional Area Applications. Each module builds upon previous knowledge to develop comprehensive analytics capabilities.

Prof. Shashi Jain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at IISc, specializing in investment decisions in energy and environmental sectors, real options, and computational finance. Before academia, he worked as a Quantitative Analyst at ING Amsterdam and a Software Engineer at Intuit. He has also been a researcher at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) and NRG and is part of the faculty at the Centre for Society and Policy, IISc. His research focuses on option pricing, derivatives, and financial risk management.
Professor in the Department of Management Studies at IISc,
Prof. Chiranjit Mukhopadhyay is a Professor in the Department of Management Studies at IISc, specializing in Bayesian Statistics, Empirical Finance, Reliability Analysis, and Machine Learning. He teaches courses on Applied Statistics, Time Series Analysis, and Research Methodology. Before joining IISc, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at institutions in the USA and Turkey. He has authored numerous research papers and served as a consultant for major organizations like Titan, TVS, and L&T.

Distinguished Biomedical Engineering Expert and Medical Device Innovator
Hardik J. Pandya serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, where he leads three laboratories focused on biomedical device development. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and postdoctoral research at both the University of Maryland and Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on developing minimally invasive and non-invasive diagnostic technologies for cancer and neurological conditions, with particular emphasis on brain, breast, head, and neck cancer diagnosis, as well as e-nose applications for diabetes screening. His significant contributions to the field are evidenced by 10 granted patents, 17 filed patents, and over 66 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals including Nature Microsystems and Nanoengineering. His excellence has been recognized through multiple awards including the Early Career Research Award (2017), ISSS Young Scientist Award (2020), and the DST Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship (2023). As a technical advisor to two Indian MedTech firms and founder of Scilogic Applied Research Private Limited, he actively works to translate biomedical innovations from laboratory to market.
