Who is the programme for?
Admission to the IIM Lucknow CFO Programme requires candidates to hold a Graduate degree (10+2+3), Diploma (10+2+3), or Post Graduate qualification with a minimum of 50% marks. Applicants must have at least 10 years of professional work experience as on the programme start date and must be currently employed. CA/CS articleship counts as valid work experience. The application process involves submitting the registration fee of INR 15,000, followed by document verification and an interview if applicable. Successful candidates receive an offer letter and must confirm acceptance before commencing onboarding. Academic assessment is structured around Project Presentations (50%) and an End-Term Examination (50%). A minimum 75% attendance is required for programme completion. Upon successful completion, participants are awarded a certificate by IIM Lucknow and become eligible for the optional Executive Alumni Status, available on payment of a one-time INR 10,000 + GST registration fee.

Subsequent modules address strategic finance and business model innovation, mergers and acquisitions including due diligence and deal structuring, and business economics covering micro and macroeconomic frameworks. Treasury management covers fixed income, derivatives, and swaps, while risk management covers credit risk, asset-liability management, and cybersecurity. The FinTech module explores blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital lending. The programme concludes with modules on personal leadership, crisis communication, and a capstone project. Complimentary access to the GenAI for Managers certificate programme adds 12 hours of AI-focused content.

Module 3 focuses on capital structure optimisation including debt-equity mix, advanced capital structure theory, and project financing. Module 4 is an extensive corporate valuation deep-dive covering valuation principles, startup and digital business model valuation, restructuring situations, and case studies. Module 5 builds strategic thinking skills including new-age strategy formulation, business model taxonomy, and leading legacy organisations. Module 6 covers the M&A lifecycle from deal principles through due diligence to regulatory and structuring considerations. Module 7 addresses business economics with micro and macroeconomic frameworks and policy implications. Module 8 covers treasury management spanning fixed income, derivatives, and cross-currency exposure. Module 9 handles risk management including credit risk measurement, ALM techniques, and cyber threats. Module 10 explores FinTech applications including blockchain in finance, crypto valuation, and digital lending. Tuition Fee
The total programme fee is INR 4,37,500 (inclusive of the INR 15,000 registration fee), with GST at 18% applicable additionally. Fees are payable in instalments: INR 15,000 at application, INR 1,60,000 within one week of offer rollout, INR 1,75,000, and INR 87,500. The registration/application fee is non-refundable if the candidate rejects the institute's offer or if the application is rejected due to incomplete documents or eligibility non-fulfilment. Foreign candidates are responsible for the cost of dispatching study material. An optional IIM Lucknow Executive Alumni Status is available on payment of a one-time fee of INR 10,000 + GST after programme completion.

The programme is delivered through a live synchronous online model using TEEL's Interactive Learning Platform, accessible via desktop, laptop, or smartphone. Instructors teach from a studio at the IIM Lucknow campus using two-way audio/video communication enabling real-time interaction. The platform supports slide presentations, video, audio, and whiteboard tools. Pedagogy blends lectures, real-world case studies, quizzes, projects, and assignments. The 3-day campus immersion at IIM Lucknow provides deep learning, perspective broadening, and peer and faculty networking. Assessment is structured with 50% weightage on project presentations and 50% on an end-term examination. Complimentary GenAI for Managers content adds 12 hours of additional learning on AI applications.
