The curriculum includes 15 comprehensive modules covering Foundation courses (Doctoral Writing, Quantitative Research Methods, Qualitative Research Methods), Concentration courses (Corporate Finance, Financial Theory and Applications, International Finance, Data as an Asset, Operational Performance Management, Application of AI in Solving Business Problems, Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing and New Media), and Leadership courses (Leadership Theory Research and Application, Leadership Complex Change, Strategic Leadership). Students complete original research culminating in a dissertation.

The program is structured in phases with Foundation courses covering research methods and doctoral writing, followed by Concentration courses in finance, marketing, leadership, and emerging technologies. The curriculum spans 36 months with flexibility for working professionals. Students complete 15 modules total, including advanced research methodologies, strategic leadership development, and a comprehensive dissertation project. Dr. McGee holds a BA in Political Science from UC Davis and both an MPA and DPA from GGU. He teaches in the Executive MPA and DBA programs, and his academic interests include public-private partnerships, performance management, and executive leadership development. A dedicated community advocate, he has served on multiple nonprofit boards and offers seminars in communication, conflict resolution, and disability awareness.
