He earned his Ph.D. from The University of Melbourne and has previously held positions at the University of Melbourne, National ICT Australia (now CSIRO/Data61), and the University of Surrey, UK. He applies these techniques across various domains, including cybersecurity, transportation, energy, health analytics, computer vision, sports analytics, AgriTech, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Dr. Bahareh Nakisa is a Senior Lecturer in Applied AI and the Course Director for Postgraduate Applied AI at Deakin University.
