Minimum Eligibility
Graduates (10+2+3) or Diploma Holders (only 10+2+3) from a recognized university in any discipline. Minimum of at least 10 years of work experience.
Who is the programme for?
The M.Tech. Design Engineering program follows a rigorous admission process designed for working professionals. Applicants must have BE/B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant disciplines with at least 60% aggregate marks and minimum one-year relevant work experience. The application requires employer consent and mentor consent forms. Once admitted, students follow a semester-based academic structure with continuous evaluation through assignments, quizzes, mid-semester exams, and comprehensive exams. Examinations are conducted at 34 designated centers across India and in Dubai.

S. Raghuraman is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, currently serving as off-campus faculty in Chennai. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and an M.E. in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from Bharathiar University. With over 21 years of industrial experience, he has worked in R&D and product development roles at leading companies, including National Factory for Air Conditioners in Saudi Arabia, Blue Star Limited, and Awal Gulf Manufacturing in Bahrain. Since 2015, he has been part of BITS Pilani, contributing to academia with seven years of teaching experience. His expertise spans Autotronics, Advanced Engineering Mathematics, and IC Engine advancements, alongside conducting certification programs on fans, pumps, and HVAC systems.
Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering ,Expert in Manufacturing Process Simulations & CAD/CAM
Dr. K. Suresh is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, with over ten years of teaching experience. He holds an M.Tech in Production Engineering from IIT Delhi and a Ph.D. from BITS Pilani. His research focuses on manufacturing process simulations, computer-aided manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing processes. He has published nearly twenty research papers in international journals and conferences. He teaches a range of subjects, including Computer-Aided Design, Computer-Aided Manufacturing, Finite Element Methods, Manufacturing Processes, and Engineering Graphics with AutoCAD for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
