The programme is specifically designed for highly driven and ambitious engineers and managers who work in areas such as Infrastructure Management, Data Center Operations, Cloud Deployment, and Networked Embedded Systems. The application process is entirely online through the BITS Pilani Application Centre. Applicants need to submit an Employer Consent Form authorized by their organization's HR or authorized signatory, along with a Mentor Consent Form signed by their chosen mentor. The M.Tech. Computing Systems and Infrastructure curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills required for career advancement in IT infrastructure management. The coursework spans four semesters, with the first three semesters covering required coursework and the fourth semester dedicated to Dissertation/Project Work. Students need to complete at least 12 courses plus a final dissertation. The curriculum includes a mix of core courses and electives. Core courses in the first semester include Network Security, Design and Operation of Data Centers, and Middleware Technologies. Second semester core courses include Cloud Computing, Advanced Computer Networks, and Infrastructure Management. The third semester focuses on elective courses, allowing students to customize their learning based on career interests. Available electives include Cryptography, Cyber-Physical Systems, Data Warehousing, Introduction to DevOps, Network Programming, Networked Embedded Applications, Service-Oriented Computing, Software Development for Portable Devices, Telecom Network Management, Web Technologies, Wireless & Mobile Communication, Data Storage Technologies & Networks, IT Infrastructure Projects & Process, Introduction to Data Science, and Database Design and Applications. Dr. Y V K Ravi Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Information Systems group at BITS Pilani’s Work Integrated Learning Programmes Division. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Sri Venkateswara University and a Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad. With over 25 years of teaching experience and a background as a Group 1 gazetted officer in the Ministry of Finance, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Ravi Kumar brings a unique blend of academic and administrative expertise.

Expert in Industrial Mathematics and Numerical Solutions

Dr. G. Venkiteswaran is an Associate Professor at BITS Pilani's WILP Division. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Mathematics from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. With over 23 years of teaching experience, he specializes in numerical solutions of partial differential equations and Monte Carlo methods. Dr. Venkiteswaran currently serves as the Associate Dean for Quality Assurance and Assessment.
