The application process is completed online through the Application Centre, where candidates must submit academic mark sheets, certificates, and an Employer Consent Form authorized by their organization's HR or other authorized signatory. Additionally, applicants need to submit a Mentor Consent Form signed by their chosen mentor. The academic structure comprises four semesters with a blend of core courses and electives. Students must complete at least 12 courses and a dissertation/project work in the final semester. The program uses a Continuous Evaluation System with mid-semester examinations, comprehensive examinations, and online quizzes/assignments.

Tuition Fee

The M.Tech. Automotive Engineering program has a semester-wise fee structure. For the 2024-2025 academic year, the following fees apply: one-time Application Fee of INR 1,500 (paid at the time of application submission), one-time Admission Fee of INR 16,500, and Semester Fee of INR 66,750 per semester. Upon admission offer, candidates must pay INR 83,250 (Admission Fee + First Semester Fee). Semester fees for subsequent semesters are payable at the beginning of each respective semester. Payment can be made using Netbanking, Debit Card, or Credit Card through the Online Application Centre. The program offers an option for easy EMI payment with 0% interest and 0 down payment. For students using the Dubai examination center, an additional fee of 1000 UAE Dirhams per semester applies (500 Dirhams for mid-semester exams and 500 Dirhams for comprehensive exams). With over 21 years of industrial experience, he has worked in R&D and product development roles at leading companies, including National Factory for Air Conditioners in Saudi Arabia, Blue Star Limited, and Awal Gulf Manufacturing in Bahrain. Since 2015, he has been part of BITS Pilani, contributing to academia with seven years of teaching experience. His expertise spans Autotronics, Advanced Engineering Mathematics, and IC Engine advancements, alongside conducting certification programs on fans, pumps, and HVAC systems.

Dr. Srinivasa Prakash Regalla is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, and Dean of the Practice School Division. He earned his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, M.Tech from IIT Kanpur, and B.Tech from Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science. With a distinguished academic career since 1998, he has held key leadership roles, including Head of the Department, Associate Dean of WILP, and Assistant Dean of Research & Consultancy. His research focuses on additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM, applied mechanics, product design, and tribology. He has published over 57 international journal papers, 33 conference papers, authored books, secured four patents, and completed multiple funded research projects. He has guided nine Ph.D. scholars and is currently leading research on metal additive manufacturing. A member of ASME, ISPO, SAE-India, TSI, and IEI, he actively contributes to advancing mechanical engineering education and research.
