Prof. P B Venkataraman

Prof. Venkataraman is an Associate Professor with Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) at BITS Pilani, bringing 25 years of industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and strategy within the light engineering and automotive sectors. He has led greenfield projects, company-wide quality initiatives, and new product developments. A proud alumnus of BITS Pilani, he earned his BS and MS in Engineering through WILP and is currently a Ph.D. scholar at BITS Pilani-Hyderabad, focusing on Engineering Education Research. As Associate Dean, he heads the Engineering group and leads WILP’s digital learning initiatives. His teaching expertise spans manufacturing, decision analysis, and precision engineering.

Dr. Arun Maity

Dr. Arun Maity is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, with nearly 30 years of experience in academia. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Raipur (now NIT Raipur), an M.E. in Production Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda, and a Ph.D. from BITS Pilani, focusing on Manufacturing Excellence at GRASIM Industries. His expertise spans manufacturing excellence, project management, and human resource management, supplemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM from IGNOU and certifications in project management. He has played a key role in implementing Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) and Practice School initiatives at various industries. Dr. Maity has mentored numerous industrial projects in manufacturing and service sectors and has published research in national journals while actively participating in seminars and conferences.

Dr. Anjani Srikanth Koka

Dr. Anjani Srikanth Koka is an Assistant Professor in the Management Group, Off-Campus Programs at BITS Pilani, based in Hyderabad. He holds an M.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and a Master of Management Studies from BITS Pilani, along with a Ph.D. from the institute’s K.K. Birla Goa Campus. With prior experience in the IT industry, he transitioned to academia in 2009, driven by his passion for teaching. His expertise lies in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Soft Skills, and Professional Communication.

Prof. Shekhar Rajagopalan

Prof. Shekhar Rajagopalan is an Associate Professor with the Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) at BITS Pilani. With a balanced career spanning 15 years in industry (IT, IT services, and research) and 15 years in academia, he brings a wealth of experience to his teaching. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from Delhi University and an MS in Computer Science along with a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Syracuse University. As part of the Management group, he specializes in teaching quantitative subjects such as Statistics and Analytics.

Prof. Krishnamurthy Bindumadhavan

Prof. Krishnamurthy Bindumadhavan is a Professor and Group Leader of the Management Group, Off-Campus Programs at BITS Pilani, based in Hyderabad. A Fellow of IIM Kashipur (equivalent to Ph.D.), he is also a CFA charterholder from CFA Institute, USA, and an FRM titleholder from GARP, USA. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky and an undergraduate degree in engineering. With over 15 years of international experience in banking and financial services, including eight years with Capital One in the U.S., he has also worked as a consultant, entrepreneur, and faculty. Passionate about teaching, he joined BITS Pilani in December 2014, bringing his deep expertise in finance, risk management, and banking.

Contact classes are conducted over a technology enabled platform. These classes can be attended via the internet using a computer from any location. These contact classes offer similar levels of interactivity as regular classrooms at the BITS Pilani campus. These are conducted usually over weekends or after business hours for a total of 7-8 hours per week. If you miss a lecture, you can also access the recorded lecture on the internet.

Each semester has a Mid-semester Exam and a Comprehensive Exam for each course, which are conducted over weekends. Students will need to appear in-person to take these exams at exams centers in the following locations: India Centers: South Zone: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Hosur, Madurai, Kancheepuram and Coimbatore. North Zone: Delhi NCR, Faridabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bhilwara, Udaipur and Pilani. West Zone: Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Ahilya Nagar, Goa, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Indore and Nagpur. East Zone: Kolkata, Guwahati, Jamshedpur, and Bhubaneswar. International Centers: Dubai In case students are unable to take an exam due to work-related commitments, there is also a provision of appearing for Make-up Exams.
