The B.Tech. Electronics Engineering curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills required for career advancement in the electronics industry. The coursework spans seven semesters, with the first six semesters covering required coursework and the seventh semester dedicated to Project Work. Students need to complete at least 24 courses plus a final project. The curriculum includes a mix of foundational courses, core electronics subjects, and specialized electives. Foundational courses include Engineering Mathematics, Object Oriented Programming, and Engineering Physics. Core electronics subjects cover Elements of Electrical and Electronic Circuits, Digital Electronics and Microprocessors, Signals and Systems, Analog Electronics, Electromagnetic Theory, Digital Control Systems, Communication Systems, Microwave and Antenna Theory, and Introduction to Digital Signal Processing. The programme offers three concentration areas: Communication Technologies, Embedded IoT & Edge, and Processor Architectures. Students can choose to graduate without any concentration or with one concentration by selecting appropriate electives from their chosen specialization track. Each concentration area has mandatory electives marked with "#" and requires choosing 5 courses from the designated pool.

This internationally recognized approach involves three parties - the student, educational institution, and employer organization - and consists of authentic work-focused experiences as an intentional component of the curriculum. The BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes are designed in collaboration with industry partners and subject matter experts, enabling students to remain relevant in their chosen profession. The programme emphasizes experiential learning through various simulation tools, platforms, and environments that allow learners to apply concepts learned in the classroom to simulated and real work situations. These include simulation environments for circuits such as LabView & MultiSim, modeling and analysis tools like PTC Creo & MATLAB, thermal engineering concepts using Flownex, and manufacturing process simulation using Afdex & Zcastpro. The curriculum includes continuous assessment through graded assignments, quizzes, mid-semester exams, and comprehensive exams. Carefully chosen real-world cases and assignments are used as problem-solving exercises, and the final semester project work allows students to apply their knowledge to complex real-world scenarios.
