The curriculum covers essential aspects of Hinduism including salient features, scriptural heritage, concept of Ishwara, Purusharthas, karma theory, and spiritual practices. Additional topics include temple culture, yajna, guru and avatara concepts, dharmic foundations of modern science, and symbology.

Topics include salient features of Hinduism, heritage of scriptures in India, the idea of Ishwara, Purusharthas, theory of karma, and Sanyasa as pinnacle of selflessness. Brahmachari Achyutāmṛta Chaitanya came to Amrita in the year 2011 with more than 20 years of teaching experience at M.A. College Kotamangalam affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He obtained his M.A. in Hindi Language and Literature in 1987, M.Phil. in 1989 and Ph.D. in 1997 from Cochin University for Analysis of Ramacharitamanas on the basis of Bhakti Sastra. He has given spiritual talks in many temples in Kerala and in many centres of M.A. Math. He has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Education of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the Amritapuri Campus.

Assistant Professor
Sivanandan D. S. currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Spiritual & Cultural Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. He completed his post-graduation in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, and subsequently worked as a Research Associate for three years at the Sukrtindra Oriental Research Institute in Kochi. His research focuses on Practical Yoga Darshana.
