Music Industry Program Director
Darko Velichkovski began his music studies in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and later received a full scholarship to the Juilliard School, graduating in 1987. He earned his graduate degree at the City University of New York. As a classical and jazz clarinetist, he has performed globally with renowned artists and orchestras. His diverse projects include collaborations with top performers and music industry businesses worldwide. Since 1996, Velichkovski has balanced teaching and industry work, developing music industry programs at universities. In 2013, he became the Director of the Music Industry Program at WVU’s College of Creative Arts.
